Our performance at Oldham Pride on July 31, played to a packed house and a very appreciative audience, was our most emotive and hearthfelt to date.  The feedback, from people of all sexualities, was fantastic and is still coming in thick and fast.  The entire audience gave us a standing ovation and there was barely a dry eye in the house.  The general consensus is that people think this is a very important production that needs to be seen by as many people as possible.  It drives the message home and leaves gay viewers empowered, and non gay viewers informed, all of them moved.  We are extremely proud of this production and intend to take it out nationally.  To do this, we need your help.

Pink Triangle Theatre also recently undertook six back to back performances of their powerful and punchy production SHOW ONE! at the U-Nite event on August 5 2010 in Rochdale.

Paul Burgess of Pink Triangle Theatre said - "This was a fantastic opportunity for Rochdale Council to set a standard of tackling homophobia head on, and a great opportunity for us as a Theatre Company dedicated to this issue, to gain valuable feedback from youngsters, and of course to get the message out that homophobia begins and perpetuates in some very familiar places".

We turned out to be the most popular workshop of the day and the only one with 100% attendance rate.  The results from our monitoring of this day are attached in PDF format.

Pink Triangle Theatre are also set to perform for a full week at The Oldham College next term, after two recent performances of SHOW ONE! there had staff and students alike praising it's passionate content and important message.

Sally Lawton, Head of Students Services at the College said - "I thought the play was fantastic.  Very real and true to life leading to very thought provoking issues that can be followed up and discussed at length.  This is a great opportunity for the College and it's staff and students to address issues and break down barriers"

The talented and passionate four are also set to perform at their first festival this Year.  Limetree festival, which takes place at Limetree Farm in Grewelthorpe, begins on August 27th, with Pink Triangle Theatre performing the hard hitting SHOW ONE! on Saturday 28th, in the fabulous and diverse 'Bet Lynch Tent' known at the festival as 'Queerinspace'.

The boys from Pink Triangle Theatre are more than ready for the challenges ahead and want to take SHOW ONE! on a nation-wide tour of Schools, Colleges and Workplaces.

They are available for interviews, features, bookings etc.
