At the 2009 TUC LGBT Conference, delegates agreed that the issues faced by bisexual trade union members had not been given sufficient attention in the past. To put right this omission, the TUC LGBT Committee decided to survey members who identify as bisexual, with a view to establishing what the main issues are, so that action can be taken.

We have asked unions to distribute the survey through their LGBT networks, to encourage bisexual members to complete and return it to the TUC. Members are welcome to complete it anonymously if they wish, and also to pass it on to other members who may not be signed up to the union’s network, but who identify as bisexual.
