During LGBT History month we are holding two visits for LGBT Youth at our locations.
I wondered if you are able to suggest LGBT Youths who would like to attend.
The details are:
February 11th - Ashfield House/ Earls Court Depot - 13:30-16:00
This visit is for the LGBT young people in the community. 10/12 in group.
Ashfield House, West Kensington Tube 13:30-14:30/14:45
Organiser - Eileen Barnard
-Tour of model station/ control room/ ticket offices ( live demo of equipment/ interactive)
-Presentations about the Apprentice scheme, with current and past LGBT apprentices sharing their experiences.
-Questions
Earls Court Depot 14:45/15:00-16:00
Organiser - Musa Owole
-Tour of the depot/ look at some trains/ view different equipment on trains
-Presentations about the role of Train Operator/ Duty Train Manager/ Duty Depot Manager, with LGBT team members sharing their experiences.

February 18th - Dockland Light Rail -13:00-16:00 10/12 group
We will meet at the DLR offices at Poplar at 1pm and then have a presentation, topics will include (in no particular order):
A general bit about TfL
A bit about London Rail
Staff Network Group & LGBT issues
Working for TfL & Opportunities Apprentice, Grad schemes etc.
What it's like to work for TfL from LGBT employees
