I was researching young campaigners and I came across your details and I was wondering if you would be able to help me in my quest in any way?

I have just started working on a new multi-media project focusing on young campaigners. We wish to cast 20 young people (aged 14-19) who are either embarking on a campaign they are passionate about or in the middle of a campaign and we would like to follow their progress and help facilitate its growth and success by various means. I hasten to add that we do not want to intervene with their ideas and ways to achieve them but they will have access to people who are experts in their field and it is for them to achieve their goals thus maintaining success coming from the campaigners – and not us.

We are also looking for young people who may not have campaigned before but have a passion for a cause however do not know how to action it. This is a chance for every teenager to have a voice!

We already have a range of campaigners that we are interested in putting forward but I was looking at trying to include young people who are passionate about a variety of issues teenage drinking campaigns/human rights/happy slapping/theft – petty and serious/child labour/local produce/local area related crime or problem/abortion/homelessness etc. I am also keen to find campaigns that are less weighty and a bit more fun.   

Obviously these are just a few ideas – I am sure that the teenagers within your group may have different ideas or campaigns that they may be passionate about and could be very personal to them or where they live?

If you do happen to know of any suitable teenagers or could perhaps point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. The deadline on this is very tight and I would ideally like to hear from interested individuals ASAP. My cut off date is 16^th June. The project is due to start early August I imagine and will continue over a period of 9 months.

We will be hoping to forge partnerships with companies and organisations as well with this project so it would be good to perhaps have a chat about that at some point too. The website is currently being built so if I can gauge who would be interested at this point that would be most helpful.
