             Please find attached flyer for the new course being run by unionlearn in Sussex and the railways unions.

 “Out at Work” will cover the historical and legal context of issues facing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) union members in the workplace, along with wider social issues.  It will look at the role trade unions can play in LGBT issues, and how reps can become involved in campaigning. The course will also allow an opportunity for reps and activists to network and plan future activities.

This course is aimed at both union reps and officers, along with activists within union LGBT groups, and will run on 15th – 16th May at Brighton Learning Centre, Brighton Railway station.  Details of how to apply are on the flyer, but I have also attached a separate application.    

Please circulate to your reps and any other union activist who may be interested.
