I'm attaching the draft as it stands. Please let me have your feedback asap.

Tasks still to do:

·        Final version of the obituary (ideally very similar word count, but I can be flexible and shunt things round if necessary) - Sue to coordinate

·        Final version of Sue's 'From the Chair'

·        History Month - main report not written yet, so it's just going to be a few photos. Anyone fancy writing a few sentences to go with it?

·        Photo of Dave (or address of tribunal office so I can download a photo/logo)

·        News in Brief - please can you all spend 10 mins trawling the web for recent education stories? I'll summarise them in a couple of sentences if you send me the URLs.

·        I’ve still got to review the NHS trans booklet then write my editorial in whatever space is left

Sue's kindly agreed to coordinate the printing and posting.

I’m away this weekend, possibly without email. Call me on 07929 271977 if there’s anything urgent. Back Monday eve, but it’ll take me a few days to catch up with email.

See you all next Saturday

Peer Productions is a revolutionary youth arts training company based in Woking, Surrey. We offer a one year, full time, free volunteer training scheme for young actors aged 16 - 23 years. Please find attached our a digital version of our brochure which you can forward to anyone who you think might be interested. Each year we train a small team as actors and peer educators and provide them with opportunities to lead community arts drama and film projects. These projects then tour to schools, colleges and community groups across Surrey and beyond. In addition we provide all volunteers with support with drama school auditions and university/job applications. We also offer training in the 'business' side of the industry including finance and tax, marketing, fundraising, and CV writing. All volunteers are accredited with a Certificate in Peer Education and Theatre from Peer Productions and have the opportunity to work towards their Arts Award Gold Certificate. Oh, and they've even managed to get the DCSF logo on their website. I wonder how much money they gave them...and whether they'll pull the plug in a couple of years!
