2008 BERA Conference

Many of you will have received BERA 2008 call for papers in the post. For those of you that haven't, next year's conference will be held from 3-6 September at Heriot Watt University, Edniburgh.

Dates that you might want to put in your diary if you are thinking of submitting either single abstracts or symposia are:

Friday 11 Jan - Keynote Symposia (it would be wonderful to have a submission from the sexualities strand!)

Friday 25 Jan - Abstract submission for main conference and student conference

If you would like to team up with colleagues for a symposia, do please use this e-mail list for discussing ideas/themes etc.

If you know of anyone who might not be on this list, then do please forward to them if they are researching in the field of sexualities and education.

One-day sexualities seminar?

I'd also like to re-advertise the fact that BERA holds a fund of £350 for the organisation of a special annual seminar, for which SIG members can apply. Alternatively, if you think that the SIG group would benefit from a one day seminar/conference, let me know, suggest a theme, and if there is enough expression of interest I can work on a proposal for the committee.

Please do also e-mail me, if you would like to be taken off this list.

best wishes

Emma
